1.1. VPN for Mac

**Reminder: You cannot connect to the VPN if you are currently on campus.



To install the Brentwood School VPN client on your Mac, take the following steps:

 

  1. Open Self Service and choose the VPN Category, then click Install under “Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client”.

  1. To open the client, go to the Applications Folder in Finder, expand the Cisco Folder and Doubleclick “Cisco Secure Client”

         

  1. When the client opens, click the gear icon in the lower left corner of the window.

 

  1. Uncheck the box for “Block connections to untrusted servers”, then close the Preferences window.

         

 

  1. Enter the Gateway name in the Cisco Secure Client window and click Connect.

         

  1. Click Connect Anyway when the Security Warning appears.

         

  1. A familiar looking Brentwood School VPN SSO login window will appear. Enter your credentials and continue through to connect to the Brentwood School VPN.
